What we collect
If you join the list, we store your email, the systems you pick, and the alert types you pick (new launches, ending soon, or neither). If you submit a campaign, we store the name, email, campaign details, and any pledge figures you type. A hidden field and a short timer are used to drop spam. We store a hash of the network address with a server salt, not the address itself.
Vercel Web Analytics is on when it is enabled in the Vercel dashboard. It is cookieless and aggregate. It is not tied to your email.
A Stripe test checkout, when that switch is on, is handled by Stripe with a test key. We do not mark a placement as sold because a test payment finished.
Why
The list is so we can send the newsletter you requested. When delivery is enabled, we send a confirmation email before newsletter delivery. Submissions are so we can review a campaign before it is published. Sponsor inquiry details are used to respond to the company and manage its booking. Analytics is so we can see which pages are used, in aggregate.
Where it lives
The database is Supabase in the United States. The site is hosted on Vercel. We do not sell this data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
A newsletter row stays until you unsubscribe or email us to delete it. A submission stays so we can review it and fix the catalog. Aggregate analytics is not stored with your email.
Unsubscribe and deletion
Email kingpalm2@gmail.com to unsubscribe or to ask for deletion. When newsletters are sent, every message will include an unsubscribe link and a postal address, which is what the CAN-SPAM rules call for. The preferences page works from a private link included in subscriber emails. When delivery is disabled, addresses are stored for launch.
